You’ve met the three AI types, seen how LLMs think, where they break, and how to keep data safe. Time to make it yours.
What you'll produce
A short AI Starter Reflection - your first Portfolio entry. It’s lightweight here; later levels produce richer artifacts that build toward the end-to-end case study. No setup required, about 12 minutes.
Your four steps
- Inventory (from 1.1). List 3 AI tools you already use and classify each as Traditional ML, Deep Learning, or Generative AI.
- Match the tool (from 1.1). Pick one real task at work and decide which of the three approaches fits best - and why.
- Set a rule (from 1.4). Write one personal safe-use rule you’ll follow (for example: “I redact customer names before pasting”).
- Plan a check (from 1.3). Name one AI output you’d verify before trusting, and exactly how you’d check it.
Make it concrete
Use tools and tasks from your actual week. The more specific your answers, the more useful this reflection becomes as the first page of your portfolio.
Recap
- You can classify everyday AI tools into ML, DL, or GenAI.
- You can match an approach to a real task - and justify it.
- You have a personal safe-use rule and a verification habit to carry forward.
